Just because it's Sunday, does not mean we take a break. How bad do you want to achieve your goals? It takes hard work and commitment. This girl is making it happen!
Sundays are always nice at the gym because there are only a handful of members working out.
Leg day workout:
Leg Press/ Squats - Wide, regular, close, and a higher stance to really focus on the glutes.
Calf press
Lunges with medicine ball twists
Weighted hip raises
Leg Curls
Leg Extensions
End with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Sprints
1. Leg Presses - 3 sets of each style
Weight for first set was 135 lbs.
Last two sets were at 150 lbs.
Push through the burn!
Wide leg press/squat really targets the inner thigh
Close stance gets the outside of your thighs and glutes
Placing your feet further out from the bar or up on the leg press machine, press through your heels.
Its ALL butt. This is what gives you a booty pop!
Calf Raises/press with 150 lbs
Leg Curls: 70 lbs first set
-90 lbs last two sets
Hip Thrusts: I used 70 lbs
Really focus on pressing through the heels and get your feet in a different stance each set.
Flex your core
This works your abs, inner outer thighs, lower back, quads, and hamstrings.
Press up and try to make your body a straight line.
Hold at the top for 2-3 extra seconds
Laugh at the husband when he makes you laugh...LOL
RUN IT OUT! Core work and shredders for fat burning.
Flex and feel proud to finally see some definition. HARD WORK PAYS OFF!
