Fitness
Fitness is something that I have always loved. It took me turning 25 to actually accept my body and the way I was built. My inherited my father's build which allowed me to excel in sports, win awards, and go on to play Division 1 College softball.
I was always good at lifting weights and when my husband and I started working out with the same trainer and at the same gym, something clicked. I knew where I was going and what I wanted to do within the fitness world. IFBB Pro.
So, in a nutshell, this is my journey! You will see photos of the WOD (Workout Of the Day) and new movements that absolutely KICKED my butt... along with any embarrassing moments in the gym. You know the ones: when you finish a killer leg day, go into the bathroom and notice that either your underwear are vibrantly obvious through your pants... or your pants were too transparent to do squats in.
The list does go on!
What's the point of this fitness page, Steph?
So glad you asked! I am sometimes referred to as 'the annoyingly over-positive' girl. It cannot be helped. If you don't want someone in your corner cheering you on, this blog may not be for you!
But, I do hope to change you mind ;)
A fitness journey, as in any aspect of life, is something you need to have support within. You cannot be held accountable, your goals will change weekly, you will go off track... all of this happens in EVERYONE'S fitness journey!
We just have to find what works best for ourselves, not compare and become depressed looking at Emma Stone (I only use her as reference because she is someone I will never mimic in body-type as she is a size-0 and small framed), but I CAN however get in the shape that Jessica Biel is in!
And of course. we all have #WomanCrushes ... and mine is Ashley Horner. She is who I aspire to be like; both professionally and personally, and ... athletically? (Sounds right... I am not an English Major!)
So, in conclusion, be a BEAST, love yourself, have fun, and always laugh it off!!
